It's kind
of funny. Seems like I get less and less time to
mess around with computer game stuff. Use to be I
would download every demo on the net I was so
freaking bored. Now it's hard to just find time
to sit down and write the page. But worst then
the page being neglected. I'm just not spending
enough quality time with my games.
I'm finding out not only do your game skills
suffer when you don't play. But even my grasp of
Ued is starting to diminish. It's just grim city
every time I start to work on a map. I do have a
new project in the works. But it seems like I
have forgot all I know about making maps. The map
I'm working on is a one room map. It's made for
Excessive, kind of an Excessive arena. I would
work with just about any Mutator that controls
weapons and health. IE, insta-gib or akimbo
insta-gib. But it's really just a place to hammer
on your buddies with the Excessive mutator. I
have Play tested the design and it's pretty cool,
but it's not going to impress the critics. But a
Pox on the critics I say. At this point I have
more projects in mind then in the works. When
(if) I ever get my stuff in one sock things
should be jamming around here.

I do play
UT about anytime I can. There are still tons of
mutators and sound pack I download and try out.
But I'm sure glad I did not pay full price for
Quake 3. I think it's the very first ID game I
have ever purchased that is just really boring
after you play with it for a while. At this point
my Quake 3 skills have atrophied to the point I
have great difficulty winning a skirmish with
"bring it on" level bots. But the
really interesting thing about my difficulty
is........ I don't really care. The first few
days Q3 was a nice way to kill some time. I would
run around whooping ass and chewing bubble gum.
Now it just seems like if I open the game up I'm
just bored the minute it loads up. I guess the
world is made up of two kinds of people, those
that dig the Q3 vibe, those that dig the UT vibe,
and those who can't count. I guess I dig the UT
vibe the most man (channeling the sprit of
Ginsburg here). As much as they seem like very
similar games on the outside they are not similar
at all. Well..... maybe somebody will make
something really cool for Q3. But it's more
likely something cool for UT will be out
tomorrow.

Dark magic
is a stone cold groove man (still doing
Ginsburg). You get to whack on people wizard
style. But as dull as that may seem, this Mutie
